Connects to the DS-4000 USB cradle (For Hands Free Dictation Only). Not for transcription, For transcription you need the Olympus AS-4000 Kit which includes the DSS Transcription Module Software

Connecting to the DS-4000 USB cradle: Hands free recording is possible while the DS-4000 is the cradle. Use the footswitch to control recording or playback functions of the recorder.
Connecting to the PC: Connecting the RS-25 footswitch to your PC permits you to control playback functions of the software, you need to have the DSS Transcription Module Software AS-4000.

Included: 2 Cables one for USB port & one for Serial port
